Seem to be starting with a cold this morning otherwise don't feel too bad.  Morning spent in the office then a little work from home in the afternoon. Snow starts in earnest this evening, Lottie and Dan becoming optimistic that school will be closed tomorrow.

Trip to the Breast Clinic at the Hospital this morning for a quick scan. Thankfully given the all clear :-) The small lump that has recently appeared seems to be normal, so one less thing to worry about.  Still feeling tired so no heavy workshop, but a little work from home.
More snow forecast for this evening.  Check out the little old lady avalanched at 1:17 in this video from the BBC, she seemed to come out smiling!

Still feeling a little better this morning but not yet ready for Heavy Workshop, maybe next week if things keep improving?  Some work from home today, then because it was such a nice day I was taken for a drive to Alport Heights to sit in the sun with a flask of coffee and some cake.  No sign of any snow yet.

Morning at work and then some work from home in the afternoon.  Feeling better today, so much so I made tea these evening.  OK it was only putting a ready made Pizza in the oven but as I've been waited on hand and foot for the past few weeks it felt a big deal. Cake baking next week I reckon.   Also caught up on the new series of the Misfits, some great characters.

No Heavy workshop again and another day taking it easy, but no afternoon nap. Good news today that Rock Athlete by Ron Fawcett has won the Boardman Tasker prize for Mountain Literature.  Well deserved :-)  I'm now looking forward to reading the autobiography of Johnny Dawes which is due out on the 15th December, hint ;-)

Family trip to the Cinema today to see the latest Harry Potter instalment.  A little long and drawn out and still more to come, but in some ways more enjoyable than previous episodes, particularly the animated /shadow puppet section and views of, Malham Cove, and Freshwater West.

A day in with Dan building airfix models and watching Time Bandits, whilst Karin and Lottie go shopping in Nottingham. 

Feeling somewhat better today, no heavy workshop but no afternoon nap needed!

Karin takes me to the pink palace that is the Weleda factory in Ilkeston and I'm prescribed some Arnica.  Placebo effect or whatever I'll give it a go.  Decathalon for some new tracky trousers for Heavy Workshop then lunch in Ikea while Karin nips round the sunless maze.  Then home via Bluebells dairy for liquorice, chocolate, mull wine and mint crisp ice cream for tonights pudding.

Karin spotted this article in the Guardian today about Nick Hornby setting up The Ministry of Stories based on 826 Valencia and the Pirate shop mentioned at the weekend, great to see such a fine idea being repeated in the UK.

Evening taking part in an Autumn Watch experiment, laptop providing extra info on what appeared on the programme.   Worth watching just for  the murmuration of Starlings 

Another morning at work then back home for an afternoon nap.  Stayed up until 9pm this evening!

No Heavy workshop again and another day taking it easy with lots of time in bed.

Confined to the sofa this morning whilst everyone else headed to the allotment.  Lovely Sunday lunch by Karin and Lottie followed by an afternoon nap.  Watched The Spiderwick Chronicles with Dan in the afternoon whilst Karin and Lottie headed to Wirksworth for dog walking and maths tuition.

Arr originally a plan t' watch all the Star Wars mo'ies, but by the powers, 13+ hours seemed a little too much.  So a Pirates of the Caribbean day planned for Dan and I, my hearty s.  Popcorn, crisps, lemonade, grog and cookies supplied by Lottie ;-)

No heavy workshop today.  More sofa action and finished watching Season 3 of The Wire.

A couple of hours in work this morning, mainly spent discussing the best way forward for my return.  Then home for a nap and some more Wire.

Visit from family Bond in the morning, followed by an afternoon snooze. I don't seem to be feeling so warm today, but left side sensitivity still poor, a little stomach discomfort and still tired. A couple more days of rest called for I think.

A quiet Sunday updating the blog and listening to the radio in front of the fire. Evening catching up on Merlin and Strictly!

Trip out today, taken for a drive to Caudwells Mill! Nice lunch then a quick visit to see Marc on the way home. Then home for an afternoon nap before Fireworks in the garden.

Still feeling hot tired and out of sorts, but better than yesterday.  No heavy workshop today morning in bed. Up to watch an episode of The Wire then back to bed where following on from a comment about hypnotherapy from the consultant I tried listening to a cheesy guided meditation track. Despite my misgivings it helped get rid of the stomach discomfort :-)

Feeling awful this morning.  Visit to the GP that was planned last week, took Karin along for support and they both gave me a reassuring chat.  Home for a little time on the sofa then back to bed.

Not feeling too great this morning but went to heavy workshop which looking back on it was probably a mistake.  Didn't manage much of my programme and then headed home for a nap.  Second mistake of the day was to try and head down to the Employee briefing at the assembly rooms.  managed it down but felt so rough headed back home and to bed.
