pumpkin & squash haul

Meeting in Matlock followed by a trip to Jackson Tor, about 15 years since I was last here.  Managed the old circuit and very pleased to finally get up the wall to the left of The Arete.  Its mentioned in the guide as having possibilities for harder bouldering,  a fun addition to the circuit although its probably been done before.

Jug Holes

I've been considering Jug Holes as a venue for some new routes for a good many years, but only recently decided to start cleaning and climbing a few lines. I'd cleaned what I thought to be the best trad line by July and persuaded Dave and Marc along as in my current state I was pretty certain I'd fall off as its a little steep.
Anyway someone else put up a sports route last week and published it on the web so word is out http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,18474.0.html

Unicorn Crossing E46a?

In the main cave/mine entrance or 2nd Water Cavern which faces north. Starting on blocks high up on the left of the entrance, traverse the lower line to finish via the sentry box in the middle of the roof. FA Dave Bond 10 July 2011

Cerberus E1 5b?

Start as for Unicorn Crossing but move up to follow the higher traverse line. FA Tim Banton 23 August 2011
