An afternoon trip, first to visit the geocache shop in Ashbourne and then to meet Dean and AJ for an ascent of Thorpe Cloud. The plan to avoid the crowds worked well and we pretty much had the top to ourselves for a picnic. I coped well with the steep path although it was early to bed for me when I got home.
